Our Story
Get to Know Us
Igbo Community London (ICL) was established as the leading voice and umbrella body for Igbos across London and the wider UK. Rooted in the principle of Ofuobi One Mind, One People, ICL unites members from all Igbo-speaking states including Anambra, Enugu, Imo, Abia, Ebonyi, Rivers-Igbo, and Delta-Igbo under one cultural banner.
As a non-governmental, non-partisan, and not-for-profit civil society movement, ICL is deeply committed to preserving and promoting Igbo identity, language, values, and heritage. We provide a platform where generations connect, traditions are celebrated, and our community thrives with pride and purpose in the diaspora.
Through cultural education, leadership, and advocacy, we continue to build a resilient and united Igbo presence in the UK honouring our past, uplifting our present, and empowering our future
